MARY MEECHAN MAITLAND

AGE 52 YEARS
Mary Maitland (my mum) was a great person. She worked in Tesco Coatbridge for about 12 years. She loved going to work and never took a day of till she fell ill on feb of this year.
She lived in Coatbridge with my dad Jim Maitland whom she loved to bits. She loved her family to bits.
My mum got married on 29 August 1975 to my dad Jim. She then gave birth to my older sister Claire on 12 March 1977. I followed (Pamela) on the 4 October 1981. We always asked mum why she never had anymore children but she kept on saying that if she had to have anymore she knew it would have been all girls.
MY mum was a great mum. I still cant believe that shes gone but i know that she will always be looking down on us. My mum found out she had cancer on the 13 March this year an it was the hardest thing we had 2 cope with. She was a very brave woman through it all. She never cried (well never let any of us see her cry) and always made us all laugh. I never thought i would have lost her so quick but she suffered far far to much and i just wish i could have took it all from her and made her better.
Also my grandad died on the 11 January 2007 and my gran died on 3 september 2007. It has been a really hard year for the family but we have all been there for each other when we feel down and need someone to talk to.
